Update March 17, 2020 11:25-Tonight's regularly scheduled board meeting will go on as planned. Due to the limitations imposed by the Governor as well as the rainy conditions today, we ask parents that may have questions/comments to submit them in advance of the meeting to the Board via email or in written form. You can email these questions and or comments to email@example.com. We will read aloud each question/comment and enter them into the minutes of the meeting.
For those who want to attend, we will have to place groups of no more than ten in separate classrooms and allow each person to address the board one by one. As always, we certainly want to hear from everyone that wants to speak, but we also want to protect the health and well-being of everyone at this time.
School will remain closed until at least March 30th as directed by Governor Cooper. In the event that this closure is extended, teachers will communicate plans for distance and / or remote learning at that time. Please use these two weeks to send quality time with your family and follow orders set by our national, state, and local governments regarding social distancing and the ways in which we can try to prevent spreading COVID-19. As I am updated regarding NC Public School decisions, I will keep you informed.
